포스트펑크 인디밴드 중에 음악성도 대중성도 모두 잡은 몇 안 되는 밴드 중 하나.<br />

스트록스에게서 영향을 매우 많이 받았다. <br />

기타리프도 리프지만 가사가 예술. 프론트맨인 알렉스 터너가 직접 작사하는데 대필 루머가 돌았을 정도로 20대 남자의 감성이라고는 믿어지지 않는 서정성과 문학성이 있다. 사실 한글로 해석하기 힘든 편.<br />
